Mr. Fox joined the firm upon graduation from law school in 1996 and became a partner in January of 2006. He represents physicians, other healthcare providers, hospitals and related facilities in all aspects of professional, general and product liability litigation, from inception through trial and appeal. He also represents healthcare providers in investigations before New York State Disciplinary bodies. Additionally, his practice includes claims and litigation administration for the captive insurance carrier of a national healthcare provider in Professional, General, Employment, D & O and E & O liability matters.
Mr. Fox has given CLE lectures on various subjects including Representing Municipal Defendants in Civil Litigation, Practical Issues Concerning the Failure to Procure Extended Reporting Coverage in Medical Malpractice actions, and Analyzing Damages in Catastrophic Injury Cases. In the past, he has been a repeat guest speaker at Kings County Hospital Center’s National Healthcare Risk Management Week, lectured during the NYU Langone Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Grand Rounds on Medico-Legal Issues and has been quoted in the book A Financial Prescription for Doctors and Dentists- Strategies for Achieving Your Personal and Career Goals.
Additionally, Mr. Fox is a member of the Association for Healthcare Risk Management of New York and serves on its publications committee where he authors submissions and conducts peer reviews of submitted articles prior to publication.
